Membership Join

Whether you are a staff nurse, advanced practice nurse, nurse manager or educator, the American Nurses Association has a place for you. All ANA members must be RNs who are licensed to practice in the United States.

ANA has a number of membership options for you to choose - So no matter where you are in career; there is a way to belong. If you are interested in ANA & State Membership, which includes membership in your C/SNA, and you do not see it listed below please click here

ANA Only Membership - In some states, RNs are permitted to join ANA directly. Direct ANA individual members receive full member benefits at the national level. Direct ANA individual members support and have a chance to influence the decisions made at the national level that affect the practice of nursing and the health of our patients and our communities.

You must live or work in the state you have selected to be eligible for this membership option.

e-Membership - For RNs who can not afford to join ANA & State Membership level at this time but still want to support the important work of the profession, the e-Membership category is ideal. Members of e-Membership Only receive limited benefits and can access the members only web site of NursingWorld.org.

e-Membership Only does not fulfill the American Academy of Nursing’s Bylaws requirement for ANA membership or include discounts on ANCC certification.
